Why do Different UK Casinos have the Same Games?

Visitors are drawn to UK online casinos for many reasons. They want new and exciting content and they want to win money. Some people see casinos as glamorous, some people gamble socially with friends, some just like the rush of gambling.

A casino that provides the best in gaming experiences will lure in the most users as will the casino that has the biggest jackpot. For a casino to design and build its own games it would take resource, money and time as well as adding much more risk to their business model. An example of this would be with software bugs. Gamers, gambling with real money, will get nervous very quickly if the slots they are playing have glitches. To develop software with no bugs is a challenge and even with experienced coders and testers its difficult to guarantee a bug free product. This would add huge risk to a casino with a potential to lose a lot of custom.

So instead they choose to outsource their requirements to software developers.

Since they first appeared in the mid 90’s, gaming software developers have moved with the times and adapted their products to meet user requirements. Games can now be played on smartphones and tablets as well as on a PC or Mac. Money transactions are simple and seamless. They can lure gamers in by associating their products with big crowd drawing Hollywood licenses such as Guns N Roses, Game of Thrones and The Simpsons. It is not just about the game now but about the whole user experience.

Each software development house will have its own portfolio of gaming titles on offer and casinos can pick and choose the best games for their site. So if one particular casino wants the biggest jackpots and they are provided by one series of games designed by one software developer then it makes sense that another casino would want the same game.

I wasn’t a fan of the video slots for quite a while. They seemed too confusing but I suppose that was down to the traditional slot machines I used to play. When I eventually gave them a go I was surprised, the graphics and sound and the gaming was really cool. I still like the old school stuff but every now and then I’ll give the newer games a go

It’s the jackpots that draw me in. I only play the games/software with the big money and will jump from game to game if I see bigger jackpots elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, the games have to be good but unless there is big money, I won’t play.
